The right to enter a park dwarfs the rights of blacks, gays and women.......

Seriously........Bryan "Lyin' Fissure" Fischer is actually saying this. Consider the tweet he sent out today. Unedited and intact, Fischer blatantly declares that the new civil rights issue of the day is.....brace yourselves.....the right of people to enter a national park during a political impasse brought on by the very people Fischer supports!  If it weren't so serious an issue, one might find this tweet laughable......but it's not. Although we are loathe to quote John Boehner, the reality is, "This is not a game!"  Apparently, for some it is, especially on the far right and in Teabagistan.  We have seen many not so subtle jabs at the President and the government, even on matters of civil rights but seriously!? This is what far right evangelicals and Tea Party advocates consider the 'New Civil Rights Movement'?  If so, they should be ashamed, but then again, we are talking about a collection of people who's combined IQ is that of a slug. Bad enough that the republicans, once the party of Lincoln, have devolved into a quivering mass of gelatinous goo, we now have to deal with frothing at the mouth, rabid right-wing demagogues who actually equate Rosa Parks, Harvey Milk and Susan B. Anthony with old white men who are inconvenienced by, ironically, the party causing the closures in the first place.  It's insulting to the intelligence of any sane person.......then again, it's Fischer and his Christian Dominionists.  For shame Mr. Fischer, for shame........
