Oh lordy yes, the TTM is back. It was Thanksgiving in the Great White North so the TTM took advantage to have some down time.....you can't imagine the pain one gets from sifting through all the tweets we get. Anyway, the holiday is over and we are back! And, as if right on cue, we have this gem from perennial favourite, Bryan "Lyin' Fissure" Fischer. In this rather dubious tweet, Bryan tries to convince us that God, the Big G, the Alpha and Omega, likes to do things on the down low......so low in fact, he doesn't even want credit. Odd thing that, given god's insistence that we know all about him. Coincidence is apparently god's hand at work, yes sir, you read it here first. The problem with this tweet is two fold for Fischer in that:
- It presupposes that god doesn't want credit for any of his 'good works'
- It implies he's ashamed or too cowardly to own up to his screw ups
Ouch! That's gotta hurt. The reality, of course, is that coincidence is actually far more rare than people think and, if god really was involved, we can't see why he wouldn't take credit.......after all, he took credit for the flood, parting the Red Sea, destroying Jericho......you get the picture. On the other hand, if he was messing things up and getting things wrong, one could see why the big guy might want to stay on the down low. Either way, it's a BS tweet meant to manipulate and insinuate divine meaning to coincidence. Sadly, many will believe Fischer's tweet, thankfully, many will also doubt it.
