Only if you have "sincerely held beliefs"...........

"Sincerely held beliefs"......CHRIST! what a disingenuous little sentence.  What does it mean you ask?  Well, for the bigots out there, it's a catch all phrase they trot out whenever they decide to discriminate against another person because of some perceived or known 'difference.'  In the case, it is important because of the following tweet by Brian 'brownshirt' Brown. Brown bleats about local officials (read county clerks etc.) picking and choosing which laws they will follow and those they won't.........and he would be correct in doing so except, he doesn't really believe it.  Consider the case he's referring to: a Montgomery county clerk in Pennsylvania is issuing marriage licenses to same sex couples (because he believes it's the right thing to do); which is, in fact, against current state law.  Knowing this, you would think Brown was right, and technically he is but here's the thing, Brown has argued that clerks in states where same-sex marriage is legal, have a right to defy the law because, you guessed it, they believe it's the right thing to do. Sounds familiar, doesn't it? It is this double standard that Brown so blatantly parades in public that makes the tweet so incredibly disingenuous. Simply put: Pot. Kettle. Black.
